What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get it back or get rid of it.
The short version: we collect what we need to reply to you and to do the work you’ve asked for. We don’t sell it, we don’t share it with colleges or institutions, and we don’t use it to advertise. Anything you’ve given us, you can get a copy of, correct, or have erased — one email does it.
Who is responsible
Mirror Mind Consultancy, Kondapur, Hyderabad, Telangana, is the data fiduciary for the personal data described on this page.
For any question, request or complaint about your data, write to contact@mirrormindconsultancy.com. That address is monitored and it’s the same one for everything on this page — access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint.
What we collect, and why
If you’re just reading the site
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. We don’t use them to build a profile of you or to identify you.
If you fill in an enquiry form or take an assessment
Your name, your email address or phone number, your city, and whatever you choose to tell us about your situation. We use it to reply to you and to prepare for that conversation. If you separately tick the box for it, we also use your email or number to send you our writing — that’s a different purpose and it’s always optional.
Where an assessment produces a result, the result is worked out in your browser. We only receive it if you choose to send it to us.
If you become a client
In addition to the above: your education and work background, notes taken during our sessions, any assessment results, and a record of payments.
- Background and session notes — so each session builds on the last instead of starting over.
- Assessment results — to inform the work and to prepare anything written you’ve been promised.
- Payment records — because tax and accounting law requires us to keep them.
On session notes. What you say in a session isn’t shared with your family, your employer, or your institution — including in cases where someone else is paying for the programme. If you want something shared with someone, you tell us and we share exactly that and nothing more.
If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone
We’ll have your number and the content of the conversation. We don’t record calls.
Consent, and how to withdraw it
Where we rely on your consent, it’s asked for separately for each purpose — nothing is pre-ticked and nothing is bundled. Agreeing to hear back from us is not the same as agreeing to receive a newsletter, and neither is a condition of the other.
You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to contact@mirrormindconsultancy.com. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it was. It doesn’t undo processing that already took place while consent was in force, and it may mean we can no longer provide something you’d asked for — we’ll tell you if that’s the case.
If you’re under 18
We don’t collect contact details from anyone under 18 through this website. Assessments and tools on this site are built so that a person under 18 can use them fully without anything being transmitted to us or stored.
We don’t track, monitor or profile children, and we don’t direct advertising at them.
Where we work with school students, we do so through a parent or guardian — they give consent, they’re the person we correspond with, and they can exercise all the rights below on the student’s behalf.
How long we keep it

When data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, it’s erased unless the law requires us to keep it.
Who else is involved
We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t share it with colleges, institutions, training providers or anyone else marketing to you.
We do use ordinary business services to run the practice — website hosting, email, calendar and scheduling, video calls, file storage, and payment processing. These providers process data on our behalf and under our instructions, and some of them store data outside India. We remain responsible for what happens to your data with them.
Assessments run by a partner
Where an assessment is run by a specialist partner rather than by us, it’s hosted on their platform and under their privacy policy, not this one. What you enter there is held by them. We receive your results so that we can work with you on them, and we’ll tell you clearly before you’re taken to a partner’s platform.
If you want data held by a partner corrected or erased, write to us and we’ll route the request to them and follow it up.
If we ever think you’d be better served by another professional, we ask you before making any introduction.
How it’s kept safe
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by the services we use.
- Accounts holding personal data have two-factor authentication enabled, and access is limited to the people who need it for the work.
- Access is limited to people who need it for the work. Session notes are the most restricted category we hold.
- If a breach occurs, we’ll notify the Data Protection Board of India and inform everyone affected, with a plain description of what happened and what to do about it.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses analytics to understand which pages are useful, and may use advertising tools to measure whether our campaigns are reaching the right people. You can block or clear cookies through your browser at any time.
We don’t use these tools on pages intended for people under 18, and we don’t build advertising audiences from anyone we know to be a child.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask us to:
- Show you what we hold — a summary of your personal data and who it’s been shared with.
- Correct it — fix anything inaccurate, complete anything missing, update anything out of date.
- Erase it — delete what we hold, other than what the law requires us to keep.
- Withdraw consent — stop us using your data for anything you’d previously agreed to.
- Nominate someone — name a person who can exercise these rights for you if you’re unable to.
To make a request, email contact@mirrormindconsultancy.com from the address we have on file, and say which of the above you want. If we can’t tell it’s you, we’ll ask one or two questions to confirm — not to make it difficult, but because handing your data to the wrong person would be worse.
We’ll respond within 90 days at the outside, and in practice far sooner.
Complaints
If something here hasn’t been handled properly, write to us first at contact@mirrormindconsultancy.com and we’ll try to put it right. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve dealt with it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes to this page
This is version 1.0, dated 24 July 2026. If we make a change that materially affects how we handle your data, we’ll update the version above and tell anyone whose data we’re holding at the time.
